Bank Worker - Registered Nurse​/Registered Children's Nurse

Overview

Our bank is growing and we want you to join our nursing team. This role offers flexibility in hours and a chance to work in a dynamic, proactive environment at Dorset County Hospital.

• Access, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors and the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient‑centred care from admission to discharge.
• Maintain accurate patient records using various clinical systems.
• Act as patients’ advocate and promote health and empowerment of patients.
• Ensure patient needs are identified and changes communicated.
• Work with multiple teams and clinical areas appropriate to your qualification.
• Access mandatory training and clinical skills.

• NMC Registered Nurse or NMC Registered Sick Children’s Nurse.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Minimum 1 year post registration experience in an acute setting.
• Understanding of professional nursing issues.
• Demonstrate ability to practice as a competent practitioner.
• Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, patients and visitors.
• Manage time effectively.
• Understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
• Confidentiality understanding.

This role is not available for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Pay: £31,049 – £37,796 a year (Pro Rata per annum).
