The Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team in Dorking, initially on a 3-month temporary basis but with the possibility of becoming permanent. This is a part-time role, working between 20 and 25 hours per week, that offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the efficient financial management of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, including managing invoices, expenses, and bank reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and VAT returns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve queries
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as required
  • The successful Accounts Assistant will have:
  • Proven experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
  • Proficiency in accounting software
