We are part of the Church of Scotland and work within a Christian ethos. This post requires you to be a member of the PVG scheme and to be registered with the SSSC, where applicable.
Responsibilities- Supporting people with everyday routines such as washing, dressing, eating and moving safely
- Building kind, respectful relationships based on what matters most to each person
- Helping create an environment where people feel calm, supported and at home
- Working alongside a supportive team to meet emotional, physical and social needs
- Attitude and approach: patient, kind and dependable
- Respect for every person’s dignity and independence
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with others
- Ability to notice when someone might need extra support or encouragement
- No prior care experience required — full training and ongoing support provided
- If you don’t already have SVQ Level 2 in Social Services and Healthcare, we’ll help you work towards it
- Membership of PVG Scheme and registration with SSSC (as applicable) and completion of necessary vetting checks
- Right to work in the UK; entitlement checks will be performed
