Practice Bookkeeper

TPF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a long-established independent accountancy practice in Ramsgate who are looking to appoint a Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team of five. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable friendly firm in a varied client-focused role.

• This is a all‑round bookkeeping position with responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of day‑to‑day bookkeeping support clients with software and help maintain accurate financial records.

• Full bookkeeping duties for multiple clients
• Preparing accounts up to trial balance
• Completing VAT returns and CIS submissions
• Supporting clients with software
• Providing client‑facing support and guidance
• Liaising with clients and ensuring a high standard of service

• Experience with in an accountancy practice (ideal)
• Strong bookkeeping skills with excellent accuracy
• Competent user of Quickbooks or Xero
• Confident communicator and comfortable in a client‑facing role
• Able to work independently within a small supportive office

• Salary up to £30,000 (experience‑dependent)
