TPF recruitment Kents leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is supporting a highly regarded accountancy practice in Dover who is looking to appoint a Personal Tax Manager to join their expanding team. This is a key role offering the opportunity to oversee and deliver high‑quality compliance work while leading on wider personal tax planning and advisory projects.
Based in Dover this firm has an excellent reputation advising a broad range of clients including directors, private clients and high‑net‑worth individuals. While compliance remains a core part of the service offering, the firm places a strong emphasis on proactive tax planning and advisory work, giving the right professional the chance to shape their role and make a real impact.
Role OverviewAs a Personal Tax Manager you will manage your own portfolio of diverse personal tax clients including:
- Directors of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- SMEs and owner‑managed businesses
- High‑net‑worth individuals
Your responsibilities will include advising on a range of tax planning projects such as share options, trusts, capital gains tax and inheritance tax (CGT), while supporting a small tax team across both compliance and advisory.
Requirements- CTA‑qualified and/or ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Proven personal tax experience within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm
- Experience may have been gained in a Top Tier, Top 100 regional independent firm or specialist tax practice
- Strong compliance and/or tax planning skill set
- Suitable for an experienced Personal Tax Senior, Supervisor or Assistant Manager looking for a challenging new career move
- Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
