The successful candidatepreferablywillbe aqualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyorsanda Registered Valueror have a minimum of 7 years commercial property experience.
You will need to be ateam playerandwillfit seamlessly into our busy team, sharingour commitment to deliver excellence.
Working within the Property
Assetsteamand reporting to the Estate Manager, the successfulcandidatewillbe responsible forassistingwiththeestatesteam’sdelivery of a professional valuation andcorporateestate management service for the Council.
Assisting the team to ensure the Council meets itsstatutory and contractual obligations in connection with Dover District Council’s land andcommercialproperty holdings, theywillprovide valuation and estate management advice to other council departments.
- Sound knowledgeofcommercial and residential property valuation, building construction and property defects, commercial estate management including the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954.
- Good ICT skills
- The ability to be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team
- Experience of working in the public sector (desirable)
- Relevant technical qualification
RICS(desirable) and Registered Valuer(desirable)
Degree(essential)
- Remuneration will depend on experience.
A full driving license is required for this role.
