Locum Social Worker Position within the Duty and Assessment Team in Tower Hamlets, UK

We are thrilled to present an ongoing locum opportunity for a Social Worker to join the dynamic Duty and Assessment Team in Tower Hamlets, earning £36.54 hourly. This full-time role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team of eight social workers, each bringing their own unique skills and knowledge to the table, along with an advanced social worker and a supportive team manager.

What you will do:

• Undertake assessments and formulate care plans for children and families, ensuring excellent service delivery within the borough.
• Collaborate with colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to children in need.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in line with local policies and procedures.
• Advocate for children’s welfare, putting their needs first and ensuring they are safeguarded effectively.
• Attend court proceedings when required and provide expert testimony to support social work initiatives.
