Mechanical / Electrical PCB Assembler – Vrieservice
Location: Dronfield, S18
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Working days: Monday to Friday (No weekends)

As a Mechanical / Electrical PCB Assembler
, you will be a key part of the Assembly Department, responsible for the accurate and efficient build of electronic, mechanical, and electro‑mechanical products through to final instrumentation.
- Assemble PCBs, electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies, optical and lens components, and final instrumentation.
- Use soldering irons, hand tools, light electrical tools, and designated equipment.
- Assist with optical alignment, testing, calibration, final inspection, and packaging.
- Assemble products accurately in line with work instructions and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of Health, Safety, Environmental compliance, and 5S housekeeping.
- Report work order progress and elevate any issues promptly.
- Support Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to improve product flow and efficiency.
- Work flexibly across different tasks and departments as required.
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team and across departments.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office / O365.
- Previous mechanical, electrical, or PCB assembly experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience with testing, calibration, or optical alignment is an advantage.
