Accounting​/Finance Intern

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an accounting or finance student to join our team in Dubai office. The ideal candidate for this position should be available to do full time internship during their final year. Duties may include working in accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, project accounting, and internal audit. This internship includes professional work experience and diverse accounting experience.

• Offering support in the areas of accounts receivable, account payable, cost accounting, tax, internal audit, consolidation accounting, business unit finance support, and/or project accounting.
• Performing journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations, document accounting processes, and assist in performing month end close tasks and/or in the preparation of tax returns.
• Assisting with preparation of financial analysis, budgets and projections, product cost analyses, and other analyses.
• Assisting with research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles and/or current tax laws.
• Assisting with special projects.

• Are a current student pursing a degree at an accredited institution in Accounting or Finance.
• Are motivated and self-directed.
• Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Have background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• Have negative drug test result(s).

Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role and on hourly basis.
