A Tax Accountant in the UAE is responsible for managing tax-related financial matters, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT laws and the newly introduced Corporate Tax regulations
. They assist businesses in optimizing tax strategies, preparing tax returns, and handling financial audits.

• Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws
• Maintain accurate tax records and financial statements
• Conduct tax audits and reconcile tax liabilities
• Advise on tax-saving strategies and risk mitigation
• Liaise with the FTA and external auditors for tax matters
• Stay updated on changes in UAE tax regulations
• Use accounting software such as Tally, Quick Books, SAP, or Zoho Books

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Tax Agent (FTA Registered) or ACCA, CPA, CMA (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, Corporate Tax, and IFRS
• Experience with tax audits and compliance reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
