Chief Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to oversee our client's accounting department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, a keen eye for detail,

• Financial Management
  :
  Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Financial Reporting
  :
  Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
  :
  Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Compliance
  :
  Ensure compliance with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Internal Controls
  :
  Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles; improve systems and procedures to enhance the financial integrity of the organization.
• Audit Coordination
  :
  Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and liaise with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Coordination with international Head Office

• Education
  :
  Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience
  :
  Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficiency in accounting software SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge
  :
  In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Soft Skills
  :
  Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Experience in Food service, Retail or FMCGindustries will be a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate analysis.
