- Handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Thoroughly checking retail stores Daily Sales Reports and acting on the exceptions
Preparing monthly prepaid and accrual schedules and assisting with month-end closing activities - Maintaining accurate records for vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliation SOAs
- Helping prepare audit schedules and supporting audit activities when needed
- Checking and processing retail staff incentives, overtime, conveyance etc
- Assisting with inventory-related accounting activities including summarizing stock take reports
- Recording, reconciling and processing Custom and freight related documents
- Assisting managers on various work related to accounts, analysis and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–5 years of accounting experience (retail industry experience preferred)
- Familiarity with retail ERP/accounting software
- Good Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
