Senior Accountant – Investment Banking & Fund Accounting

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, and fund-level accounting for our client in the investment banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in IFRS, financial analysis, and hands‑on experience in NAV calculation, fund operations, and investor reporting
.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in line with IFRS.
• Handle AP/AR, tax compliance, and month‑end/quarter‑end closing.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Perform NAV calculations and maintain accurate fund books.
• Handle investment accounting: subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls & distributions.
• Prepare investor reports
  , capital account statements, and fund performance summaries.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and asset managers.
• Ensure timely valuation, expense accruals, and fee calculations for funds.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights to support decision‑making.
• Supervise accounting staff and manage external audits.
• Oversee cash flow, banking operations, and fund allocations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance;
  CA/CPA preferred

• 10–15 years of experience, with mandatory fund accounting exposure
  .
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, NAV calculation, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Package – AED 12,000 – AED 20,000/month
