Civil Foreman

Overview

Civil Foreman / Building Supervisor sought to supervise employees at construction sites, coordinate procedures and ensure project completion. Must have a solid field background, strong management abilities, and the ability to guide the work of others with quick decision-making. Safety and quality are priorities.

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and project plans.
• Create schedules and monitor staff participation.
• Allocate general and daily site obligations.
• Oversee and train employees and tradespeople.
• Ensure sufficient manpower and resources at the site.
• Ensure safety precautions and quality criteria are satisfied on site.
• Monitor use of equipment and machinery.
• Track costs and keep the project within budget.
• Resolve problems as they arise.
• Report progress to managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a building foreman, minimum 5 years.
• Extensive knowledge of building procedures, equipment, and OSH standards.
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Mathematical proficiency; problem-solving abilities.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Senior high school diploma or a diploma in a skilled trade (e.g., electrician, carpenter).
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience in construction and related company.
• UAE driving license is required.
