Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Take-offs:

Solicit and evaluate quotations.

Cost Control:
Monitor project costs during construction and recommend corrective actions.

Value Engineering:
Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Contract Administration:
Administer contracts, verify invoices, and resolve disputes.

Progress Reporting:
Prepare reports detailing costs and financial forecasts.

Risk Management:
Identify and assess risks.

Change Management:
Manage variations and change orders.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure construction meets standards and regulatory requirements.

Client Liaison:
Communicate regularly with clients.

Cost Analysis and Reporting:
Identify trends and areas for improvement.

Documentation Management:
Maintain accurate records.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience in construction quantity surveying or cost estimation.
