Resident Engineer - Site

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer - Site to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of on‑site construction activities ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

• Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications and schedules
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports, progress updates and site documentation
• Analyze and resolve complex engineering and construction issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards in Dubai
• Manage project resources including personnel, equipment and materials
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required
• Implement and maintain effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in construction management
• Apply sustainable construction practices and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer for Building/Villas projects with 15 total years of experience in the construction industry
• UAE experience required with a strong familiarity of local construction standards and regulations in Dubai
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques and industry best practices
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations and site safety protocols
• Excellent project management skills including resource allocation, scheduling and contract management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
• Outstanding technical report writing and documentation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Experience with sustainable construction practices and innovative solutions
• Knowledge of contract management and dispute resolution techniques
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai United Arab Emirates with potential travel to other project locations as required
