Position: Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract)

The role is responsible for providing pre‑contract quantity surveying duties for civil work.

Responsibilities

Preparation of Bills of Quantities.

Initial project documentation, collecting all relevant project/tender documents, including architectural/structural/MEP packages, and specifications.

Itemization and categorization, review the project documents thoroughly and itemize all materials and labour required.

Quantity take‑off & measurement sheet, take‑off using Plan Swift software & prepare measurement sheets.

Prepare BOQ & link quantities from measurement sheets.

Quality control, review and cross‑check the BOQ thoroughly to ensure scope, accuracy and consistency.

Compliance and standards, ensure that Bill of Quantities adheres to the relevant standards and guidelines.

Final compilation, organize all sections in the BOQ in a clear and easily understandable format with supporting documents (drawing register, marked drawings (Plan Swift), measurement sheets linked to BOQ, RFI & etc.). Include project details and any terms and conditions if required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying. Cost Consultancy/Contracting experience can be considered.
