Estimator; Infrastructure

Summary

We are looking for an Estimator with experience in infrastructure projects to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various infrastructure projects to ensure competitive bidding and profitability.

• Analyzing project drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Identifying and quantifying potential risks and opportunities in project estimates.
• Presenting estimates to management and participating in bid reviews.
• Monitoring actual project costs and comparing them to estimated costs to provide feedback for future projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator from a Construction company handling infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimates.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in quantity take-offs and cost estimation tools.
• Knowledge of infrastructure materials, methods, and processes.
• Understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs.
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Excel.
