Contract Type: 1–2 year fixed-term contract
We are seeking a skilled Technician/Assistant Technician to support our construction material testing projects in Dubai. This is a contract-based role for 1–2 years. The candidate will be responsible for performing and assisting in a variety of field and laboratory testing activities, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with safety and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and assist with soil, concrete, and aggregate testing.
- Conduct field density tests and sampling of concrete for compression and flexural testing.
- Assist in conducting slump tests.
- Knowledge of asphalt testing is preferred.
- Responsible for the delivery and collection of samples and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing activities.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Work effectively under pressure within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a third-party testing laboratory.
- Minimum experience in construction material testing with a commercial test house or contractor.
- ACI/CTTA certifications are preferred.
- Valid local driving license is preferred
