Job Summary

The MEP Fit-Out Project Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on fit‑out projects. The role ensures that MEP installations are delivered safely, on programme, within scope, and to approved quality standards while coordinating closely with civil and architectural trades.

Key Responsibilities – MEP Fit‑Out Execution

• Supervise all MEP works on fit‑out projects (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting where applicable)
• Ensure MEP works are coordinated with ceilings, partitions, joinery, flooring, and finishes
• Review and implement approved MEP fit‑out drawings, layouts, and shop drawings
• Ensure works comply with DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), and local authority requirements

Site Management & Coordination

• Coordinate daily activities between MEP teams, civil trades, and subcontractors
• Plan and sequence works to avoid clashes and rework
• Monitor programme and report delays or risks to management
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractors

Manpower & Subcontractor Supervision

• Manage MEP technicians, foremen, and subcontractors on site
• Ensure productivity, workmanship, and adherence to scope
• Verify materials, tools, and resources are available as per schedule

Quality Control & Testing

• Inspect MEP installations for quality and compliance
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and inspections
• Manage snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover activities
• Ensure as‑built drawings and O&M requirements are supported

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce site HSE requirements and safe systems of work
• Conduct toolbox talks specific to MEP activities
• Ensure permits, method statements, and risk assessments are in place
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately

Reporting & Documentation

• Submit daily site reports, progress photos, and manpower returns
• Track materials, deliveries, and site inventory
• Support project documentation, handover files, and close‑out
