The Dental Assistant supports the dentist in delivering high-quality oral healthcare by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, managing patient records, and ensuring efficient clinical operations. The role requires both clinical and administrative skills, as well as a caring and professional attitude toward patients.

• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments before procedures.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments (e.g., fillings, extractions, cleanings, and surgeries).
• Provide suction, hand instruments, and materials as required.
• Mix and prepare dental materials such as impression materials, cements, and composites.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as instructed by the dentist.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Maintain dental equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and reassurance.
• Explain treatment procedures and aftercare instructions to patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times.
• Assist in monitoring patients during and after treatment.

• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as directed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient flow in coordination with the reception team.
• Order, receive, and organize dental supplies and inventory.
• Ensure treatment rooms are well-stocked and clean at all times.

• Educational
  
  Qualifications:
  
  Diploma or Degree in Dental Assisting / Nursing from an accredited institution.
• May require shift-based work, including evenings or weekends.
• Compliance with UAE healthcare and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and procedures.
• Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Easy Dental, or similar).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license mandatory.
• Arabic language is preferred.
