Lead Design Architect​/Manager; K-12, School Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead and coordinate all design activities for school infrastructure projects, including new builds, extensions, and refurbishments. The role ensures compliance with educational standards, authority regulations, and operational requirements while managing consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–12 years of experience in design management; experience with school or institutional projects preferred.
• Proven experience handling medium- to large-scale institutional buildings.
• Strong understanding of building codes, fire & life safety, and authority approval processes.
• Proficient in design review, coordination, and documentation management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and tools (Revit preferred).
• Understanding of sustainability and green building principles.

• Lead and manage the overall design process for new school buildings, expansions, refurbishments, and A&A works from concept to completion.
• Prepare design briefs, scopes of work, and tender‑related documentation aligned with curriculum needs, school operations, and education best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants across all disciplines for quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery of all design packages.
• Ensure designs meet school operational needs, educational standards, and local authority regulations.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submissions; provide design feedback and approvals.
• Conduct design audits, value engineering, and feasibility checks.
• Support construction teams with design clarifications, material & shop drawing approvals, and site reviews.
