As Lighting Designer reporting to Head of MEP /Sr. Lighting Designer working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai Provide a unique lighting design for Façade, Interior & landscape. Work closely with MEP team. Collaborate with Design Managers, Architects & Concept Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers. Assist Electrical Engineers & CAD technicians in developing detailed lighting design packages

• Must have a minimum of 4-8 years lighting design experience from a Lighting consultant or a lighting supplier whose goal is to not just sell lights, but to provide unique experience by means of good lighting design.
• Comprehensive understanding of the lighting design process, with proven track of successfully completing lighting design projects in all stages.
• Must be able to effectively communicate design ideas. Verbally & visually. (A MUST)
• Knowledgeable on the latest trends in the lighting Industry. Well versed on CIBSE / SLL & other lighting regulations.
• Experienced in providing markups and contributing to the production of deliverables, from concept to tender stages. Including concept presentations, Luminaire specifications, control schedules, calculations, BOQ, layouts and detailed drawings.
• Confident and capable of creating visually appealing lighting design documents such as reports and presentations that effectively communicate technical information in clear and accessible language.
• Expert in developing sketches and proficient in the following software:
  Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit & BIM, Sketchup, 3
  
  Dmax, MS Office, InDesign.
• Collaborate with Architects, Interior designer, Landscape Architects, Structural Engineers. Including internal team members and other disciplines throughout the project stages.
• Can work Independently.
• Conducts on-site reviews to support technical inspections.
• Coordinates technical workshops with suppliers to stay aligned with the new and innovative product trends.
• Can contribute to the growth of the team within the organization.
• Attend conferences and exhibitions to stay updated on the latest market trends. Brings technical expertise in relevant Lighting Industry code standards.
• Attend technical workshops and learning sessions with the manufacturers and suppliers. Gaining a detailed understanding of installation processes and sharing knowledge with the team.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural /Relevant Field Experience
• Minimum 4-8 Years Role Specific Qualifications & Training:
