House of Narma is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker and Sample Machinist to join our Dubai atelier. The ideal candidate will have a refined technical sensibility and deep understanding of luxury garment construction, capable of translating complex design ideas into precise, beautifully balanced patterns.

• Develop accurate manual patterns for both womenswear and menswear, from designer sketches or draped forms.
• Execute toiles and samples with couture-level precision and finishing.
• Conduct pattern grading and size development, ensuring consistency and proportion across the range.
• Lead fittings and perform technical adjustments with speed and accuracy.
• Work closely with the design team to engineer garments that retain their creative integrity while meeting technical feasibility.
• Maintain an organized archive of patterns, samples, and fit notes.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury or designer ateliers (RTW and couture).
• Expert in manual pattern cutting, draping, grading, and fitting for both structured and fluid silhouettes.
• Strong technical understanding of fabric behaviour, finishing techniques, and construction standards.
• Precision in sample execution, clean finishing, accurate seam balance, and couture attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret sketches independently with minimal guidance.
• Proficiency in English is required; comprehension of Arabic is preferred.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented, and able to meet demanding timelines while maintaining exceptional quality.
