We are seeking an experienced design professional with a passion for experimentation, innovation, and problem‑solving to join our Design Technology community in our Dubai office. As a Project Design Technology Lead, you will use your soft skills, relationship building and technical expertise to drive digital modeling adoption, implementation, and BIM management at a project and studio level.

The Project Design Technology Lead will partner with the Regional Design Technology Leaders to establish goals and strategic plans in support of project objectives. Candidates should have proven experience in leading design teams and external consultants, as well as managing the long‑term commitment of executing large‑scale project delivery. This role is key to delivering the highest value and best outcome for our clients.

• Lead the implementation, management, and execution of BIM/digital modeling pipeline on projects throughout all phases of the design process.
• Partner with Regional Design Technology Leaders to monitor and report on model metrics and incorporate workflows, best practices and content shared across the project and firm.
• Identify and resolve opportunities around model management to optimize performance and user experience.
• Articulate and report on key performance indicators of design technology practices across the duration of projects.
• Develop project‑specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) derived from the Gensler standards framework set by the Regional Design Technology leadership.
• Lead collaboration efforts with contractor and owner BIM groups on large projects.
• Coordinate regularly with all project stakeholders including Client, Program Management team, Executive Architect Team and Consultant BIM Managers.
• Author/develop design solutions to address project needs using various tools, scripting, and workflows.
• Recognize the degree and complexity of a project and co‑author the right design technology strategy to optimize project performance as well as support an integrated and lean project delivery framework.
• Establish, communicate, and interpret changes in best practices, protocols, and other related matters.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with office and studio leaders by improving communication, transparency, and involvement throughout the duration of a project.
• Mentor and train the project team on best practices in BIM and elevate the baseline aptitude of project teams using BIM.
• Execute digital fluency between design applications to eliminate waste.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Architecture and prior work experience in the construction industry.
• 5+ years of experience in a project‑specific BIM/digital design role spanning all phases of design and delivery.
• ISO
  19650 Information Management Certification/Accreditation.
• Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit Architecture and related Building Information Modeling software, including Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM
  360 collaboration, Navisworks for coordination & clash detection.
• Experience with Design Visualization tools and applications such as 3D Studio Max, Enscape, Vray, etc.
• Familiarity and preferably some experience with Computational Design applications such as Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshopper.
• Familiarity with Performance Design applications such as Climate Studio, EC3, Fenestra Pro, Ladybug Tools.
• Knowledge of implementing International BIM Standards like ISO 19650 throughout the duration of the project.
• Experience working in Architecture or Interior Design practices, with detailed knowledge of project processes, milestones and deliverables.
• Good knowledge of architecture and interior design processes and workflows.
• Articulate communicator who can convey Design Technology‑related concepts to all levels of design and delivery professionals.
