Wize Job HR Consultancy is hiring an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist in Dubai to join a fast‑paced and patient‑focused healthcare team. This role involves diagnosing and managing a range of gastrointestinal conditions, performing endoscopic procedures, and delivering specialized treatment plans within a collaborative environment.
Role SummaryAs a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will provide expert care for patients with digestive system disorders, including diseases of the liver, pancreas, intestines, and esophagus. You will also perform advanced diagnostic procedures and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do- Conduct clinical consultations and physical assessments for patients with gastrointestinal symptoms
- Develop personalized treatment plans for chronic and acute digestive disorders such as IBS, Crohn’s disease, colitis, liver disease, and GERD
- Perform diagnostic procedures including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies
- Coordinate with dietitians, radiologists, surgeons, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment as needed, and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and their families about lifestyle adjustments and preventive care for digestive health
- Stay current with advances in gastroenterology by participating in CME programs and reading peer‑reviewed literature
- Comply with medical ethics, legal requirements, and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Residency and fellowship completed in Gastroenterology
- Board certified in Gastroenterology
- Minimum 5 years of post‑fellowship experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Skilled in both outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care
- Proficient in using EMR systems and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
