Senior Calculation Engineer — Permanent

As part of our Calculation Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of engineering solutions for complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform structural analysis of steel structures
• Perform mechanical calculations on piping and pressure vessels
• Perform flow analysis, pressure drop calculations and pump sizing
• Detailed design of steel connections (welded/bolted) by analytical methods / hand calculations
• Perform lifting analysis of skids, modules and equipment
• Lead teams of Jr. engineers into the successful completion of projects and objectives
• Write technical reports and calculation notes in technical English as per the requirements of Classification Societies Rules and Regulations
• Review, check, and verify structural drawings, and supporting documentation rated to the project in accordance with Client requirements
• Assist the project engineers during the preliminary studies, procurement, and installation phases
• Manage third party personnel by monitoring the workload and verifying deliverables
• Coach and mentor junior members of the team
• Ensure that all project requirements are complied with, including budget and schedule. Keep track of any variations and reports to the calculation manager

Engineering Bachelor degree (Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Naval Engineer)

Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience structural design for Offshore O&G

• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, FEMAP or equivalent
• Good understanding of industry related standards (e.g. AISC, API, ASME) and Class Rules (e.g. ABS, DNV, Norsok) is a plus
• Technical knowledge of steel fabrication and steel material selection as per relevant Codes
• Experience with High Pressure Piping (HP) Design (5k/10k/15k psi) is a major plus

• Experience with structural analysis software, STAAD PRO or similar is mandatory
• Well versed in detailed design of steel connections with Mathcad / Excel
• Familiar with technical drawings and drafting softwares such as AutoCAD or similar
