Planning Engineer

Overview

Planning engineers in the marine industry play a crucial role in ensuring that projects such as shipbuilding, offshore construction and port development are completed efficiently, safely and within budget. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer to support marine engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring timely delivery of marine construction and engineering works.

• Develop project schedules for marine engineering and construction projects.
• Monitor progress and performance against plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, within budget and to required quality standards.

• Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 35 years of experience in planning roles within the marine or offshore industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel.
• Strong understanding of marine construction methods and logistics.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
