Senior Engineer - Transportation Policies

JOB PURPOSE

Conducting professional transportation policy and planning analysis, studies, reports, and presentation preparations and coordinate with stakeholders internally and externally.

• Conducting transport policy studies/analyses and assist in preparing technical reports/presentations.
• Suggesting transportation policies and studies which can improve Dubai transportation system and participate in conducting and managing such studies.
• Studying and evaluating the impact of different transportation policies and travel demand management measures.
• Identifying various transportation policy and planning issues and challenges in Dubai and in studying those challenges/issues and identifying solutions for them.
• Checking and evaluating different public transport and road network planning options and scenarios.
• Planning, design, and supervision of different travel surveys required to develop transport policies.
• Engage in stakeholder coordination both internally and externally with relation to Transport Policies.
• Conduct benchmark studies and analysis on Transport Policies and suggest up to date policy changes.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.

• Analytical and reporting abilities - Project Management - Proven ability to develop quality standards, testing procedures, inspection-reporting formats, and ability to conceptualize tasks and accomplish them - Good knowledge of statistical methods and their applications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Urban Planning from a recognized university.
• 5 years of experience.
