Oversee on-site civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and clients to align project objectives and resolve technical discrepancies.Conduct regular quality inspections on materials, structural components, and construction processes; document findings and implement corrective actions.Manage project schedules, monitor progress against timelines, and optimize resource allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to meet deadlines.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including site reports, inspection logs, change orders, and as-built drawings.Resolve on-site technical issues promptly, provide engineering solutions, and ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.Supervise site labor, ensure proper use of construction equipment, and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards.Collaborate in cost control efforts, track material usage, and liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely supply of quality materials.Skills
Proficiency in construction software (AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Revit, Navisworks) and BIM implementation (critical for mega projects in Dubai).Strong knowledge of UAE building codes (UAE BC), Dubai Municipality regulations, and health & safety standards (HSE).Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments (core project types in Dubai).Excellent coordination skills with multi-cultural teams (contractors, consultants, government authorities like DHA, DEWA).Fluency in English (mandatory);
Arabic language proficiency is a strong plus for local stakeholder communication.Cost control, progress tracking, and documentation expertise (aligned with Dubai’s strict project compliance requirements).Ability to handle fast‑paced, large‑scale projects and resolve on‑site technical issues proactively.Familiarity with sustainable construction practices (LEED, Estidama) – increasingly prioritized in Dubai’s green building initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
