Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented professional to join our team as a Revit Fire Services Draftsperson, specialising in Fire Protection Systems. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with strong technical drafting skills and expertise in Revit, who is passionate about designing compliant, effective fire safety solutions for a variety of projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver high‑quality fire protection system drawings that meet industry standards and client requirements.

• Produce accurate and detailed Revit drawings and 3D models of fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, hydrant layouts, fire hose reels, and suppression systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Interpret architectural and engineering plans to design and coordinate fire protection solutions that meet standards and building codes.
• Collaborate closely with project engineers, other drafting professionals, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of fire services within overall building design.
• Update and maintain Revit families, templates, and documentation libraries specific to fire protection systems to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects.
• Support the review and coordination process to identify and resolve design clashes or compliance issues promptly.
• Prepare documentation and as‑built drawings for submission and handover to clients, authorities, and internal teams as required.
• Stay informed on the latest fire safety standards, codes, and industry trends to ensure all designs are up to date and fully compliant.

• Proven experience drafting fire services or building services systems using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, detection and alarm systems, and general compliance principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on quality assurance in all deliverables.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities to coordinate work and document technical information effectively.
• Competency in using project coordination tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Certificate, diploma, or higher qualification in Building Design, Drafting, Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Revit Draftsperson, ideally with a focus on fire services or hydraulic systems.
