We are seeking a Technical Head – Façade Engineering with deep authority in Unitised Curtain Wall (UCW), Window Wall (WW) system design, and complex façade engineering for supertall towers. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader capable of guiding internal engineering teams, suppliers, and consultants toward world‑class engineering outcomes.

You will act as the organisation’s technical anchor, driving system development, solving complex façade challenges, and ensuring best‑in‑class performance across structural, thermal, acoustic, and movement design parameters.

• Lead UCW and WW façade system development for supertall towers and complex geometries.
• Provide technical authority across all stages of façade engineering, including concept, detailed design, testing, fabrication, and installation.
• Oversee PMU testing, certification processes, and compliance with EN, ASTM, and UAE façade standards.
• Coordinate closely with façade consultants, architects, structural engineers, and specialist suppliers.
• Review, verify, and approve detailed engineering packages, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and method statements.
• Offer hands‑on problem‑solving for movement design, wind‑load engineering, anchorage/bracket design, and glass/IGU performance.
• Support BIM‑based coordination, clash resolution, and digital delivery workflows.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, uplifting internal engineering capability.

• Mandatory: successful delivery of at least one supertall tower (300m+) or equivalent mega project.
• Anchoring and bracket system design
• Wind‑load, movement, and tall‑building interface engineering
• PMU testing & certification
• Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams

• Strong command of structural calculations (glass, aluminium, steel, anchorage & fixings).
• Deep knowledge of façade physics and IGU performance optimisation.
• Expertise in movement design for tall buildings and high‑rise structural dynamics.
• Skilled in BIM‑based coordination, 3D modelling, and digital integration.
• Ability to evaluate and approve engineering packages, shop drawings, and fabrication deliverables.
• Strong understanding of global standards: EN, ASTM, PMU, and UAE regulatory requirements.

• Strong technical authority and decision‑making capability.
• Ability to challenge, guide, and inspire both internal engineering teams and external partners.
• Confident communicator with consultants, contractors, and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Hands‑on leadership with a solutions‑focused mindset.

• Experience with high‑rise BIM‑to‑factory workflows.
• Understanding of glass procurement, vendor qualification, and technical negotiations.
• Awareness of logistics, sequencing, and installation methodology for UCW systems.
