Electrical Site Supervision Engineer (Switchgear & Transformer)
Join to apply for the Electrical Site Supervision Engineer (Switchgear & Transformer) role at Bureau Veritas North America
Responsibilities- Perform site activities for Transmission power substation equipment such as Gas-insulated Switchgear rated 132kV & 400kV and power Transformers rated 132/11kV & 400/132kV.
- Site Safe Receipt Procurement Inspection, installation, testing activities in line with the approved test forms.
- Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings.
- Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts during site activities related to technical issues, reviewing method statements, reporting non-conformities to the line manager and following up with stakeholders for rectification.
- Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWA's safety standards.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in high voltage transmission substation equipment.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE, IEC, BS).
- Proficiency in technical report writing.
- Mid-Senior level
