• Position:
  Structural Engineer

• Design review for concrete, steel, composite, post tension, high rise building, industrial building and marine structures.
• Perform technical audits, control services including design review, specialized studies, expert studies, etc. within conforming assessment services.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Prepare value engineering studies.
• Attend meetings and discussions with client and authority.
• Conduct site inspections covering basic inspection for construction civil works; review material submittals, method statements, quality assurance/control; issue reports (weekly/monthly).
• Perform calculations: supporting member properties, summary of loads, load combinations, hand calculations, stress calculations for parts not checked by computer, etc.
• Assist in commercial actions linking client needs to Bureau Veritas services; prepare technical aspects of tenders (scope, planning, cost structure).
• Participate in execution of missions, alone or within project teams; liaise with client, designer, project manager; manage design review phase per scope and quality system; execute reporting on tasks and cost building-up; contribute to project reporting.
• Uphold security guidelines and safeguard working environment; share knowledge and information; embody core and business values: result‑oriented, service‑driven, personal efficiency, impact and influencing, rigorous, problem solving.
• Know clients in depth; understand their needs, expectations, and level of satisfaction; develop contacts and conduct necessary analysis.

• Specialty:
  Design review for concrete, steel, composite, post tension, high rise building, industrial building and marine structures.
• Conversant in International Codes.
• Good technical reporting skills in English language.
• University Degree in Engineering or Post‑graduate Degree.
• Technical knowledge:
  Familiarity with structural design software, techniques and codes (DBC, ADIBC, IBC, ACI, UBC, ASTM, AISC, etc.) and local circulars.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 15 years in Structural Engineering.
• Licensed by Dubai Municipality (DM) for structural design review of unlimited height.
• Computer skills in MS Office and Structural Engineering software.

• Maintain a high degree of expertise through permanent specialised training and knowledge management.
• Participate in products development and dissemination in the field of expertise.
• Contribute to Best Practices dissemination.
• Participate in Knowledge Management.

• Assist in commercial actions linking client needs and Bureau Veritas services.
