Mechanical Draftsman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with an Electro-Mechanical (MEP) background to join our team in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, technical layouts, and design documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical designs using AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
• Develop MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and engineering guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to incorporate design updates and revisions.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Support the project team in resolving technical issues related to drafting.

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman, preferably in MEP projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
