Our client, a well-established engineering company specializing in flow measurement, metering skids, and instrumentation solutions for the oil & gas industry, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their Dubai office in Jebel Ali Free Zone. The ideal candidate will drive business development across the UAE and GCC region, manage key accounts, and lead technical sales efforts in collaboration with major EPCs and end-users.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute the sales strategy for the company's products and engineered solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients including EPCs, end-users, and consultants.
- Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic markets, particularly in metering, instrumentation, skids, and analyzer systems.
- Prepare and review technical/commercial proposals and tenders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, proposals, and execution teams to ensure alignment on project scope, cost, and delivery.
- Provide techno-commercial support to clients, including site visits, presentations, and system demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the oil & gas and energy sectors within the Middle East.
- In-depth knowledge of flow meters (USM & Turbine), custody metering systems, skids, analyzers, and automation solutions.
- Proven track record with major OEMs like Faure Herman, SICK AG, Endress+Hauser, Emerson, Honeywell, etc.
- Strong proposal, estimation, and bidding experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with JAFZA regulations and logistics is a plus.
- UAE driving license required.
- Multilingual abilities:
English, Arabic, and regional languages are an advantage. - Self-motivated with a strategic mindset.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and multinational environments.
