Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronics Engineer to manage installation, commissioning, servicing, and reporting for UPS systems in critical data center environments. This role ensures maximum operational reliability, minimizing downtime in high‑stakes infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of UPS systems (static, modular, battery‑backed) per IEC and UAE standards.
- Perform load testing, fault simulation, and system integration with generators, PDUs, and cooling units.
- Execute preventive maintenance and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations, ISO 27001, and TIA‑942 standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
- Provide on‑site training to junior staff.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering.
- 2–3 years in UPS testing and commissioning, preferably in data centers or critical power systems.
- Proficiency with tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and UPS software (Schneider, Eaton, ABB).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure during live commissioning.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
