We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established mechanical installations contractor delivering projects across Ireland, the UK, and Mainland Europe. The company specialises in large-scale works including Data Centres, Energy Centres, and Shell & Core projects.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The role will be split between their office in Westmeath and project sites in Mainland Europe. When travelling, flights and accommodation will be fully provided.

About The Role:

You will take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical projects from early stages through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main liaison between the client, design teams, and site personnel
• Coordinate procurement activities and resolve engineering-related issues
• Prepare and implement project-specific safety and quality plans
• Mobilise subcontractors and manage labour resources
• Support site training plans in conjunction with senior management
• Lead site teams and oversee day‑to‑day site operations
• Monitor programme milestones, materials delivery, quality, and safety compliance
• Attend client and project meetings
• Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and commercial performance
• Monitor productivity and maintain accurate project progress reporting
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and final system handover
• Assist with final accounts and project close‑out
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle

Candidate Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience in Project Management within mechanical or building services
• Proven experience delivering mechanical or HVAC projects
• Experience with pre‑commissioning and mechanical system handover
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Competent IT and reporting skills
