Job Description
We are looking for a Chief Surveyor specialized in Roads & Civil Works to oversee and manage surveying activities related to various road construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurements, providing technical guidance, and supervising survey teams on-site.

• Coordinate and lead survey teams in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for road projects.
• Develop survey plans, methodologies, and procedures to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of survey activities.
• Analyze survey data, prepare reports, and make recommendations to support decision-making by project teams.
• Manage survey equipment, tools, and resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of surveying activities with project goals and timelines.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to survey team members, including training and mentoring junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during surveying activities.

• UAE/MOFA Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with projects involving construction of bridges, deep utilities, wet/dry and road works.
• Proven experience in surveying activities specifically related to road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
• Strong understanding of construction and civil engineering principles
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage a team of surveyors effectively
• Problem-solving skills to address surveying challenges on-site
• Attention to detail and accuracy in survey data collection and analysis
• Knowledge of relevant local regulations and standards in surveying for roads and civil works
