- Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Generator inspections/overhauls, parts supply and engineering services
- GT / ST and Generator corrective maintenance and repairs on a standby basis
- Generator robotic inspections, rotor and stator rewinds
- Auxiliaries inspections/overhauls and parts supply
- Turnkey GT/GTG/ST/STG/ Long‑Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), Long‑Term Maintenance Agreements (LTMAs), Long‑Term Manpower Supply (LTMSAs) and Long‑Term Part‑Supply Agreements (LTPSAs)
- On‑Site Intervention Services (OSIS) – Spark Erosion; in‑situ valve repairs; on‑site machining (CNC and Rotor Lathe); low‑speed balancing;
Trevi‑Testing - On‑site surface preparation – ice blasting, coating and curing of compressor parts (blades/vanes) with aluminum chromate coatings
- In‑house re‑engineering and design team
- Development and implementation of a procedure for organizing lifting operations, considering the specifics of the company and the requirements of local legislation.
- Organizing the process of performing the required certifications and inspections of lifting equipment and lifting devices used in the company.
- Undertake rigging studies, inclusive of crane requirements, load calculations, interpretation of crane load charts, and technically evaluate all lifting plans and activities.
- Create and review relevant method statements, lifting plans, and risk assessments. Work in line with company HSSE policy, ensure site compliance including that subcontractors are aware and comply with HSSE procedures, rules, and regulations for rigging/lifting activity.
- Responsible for assessment of critical lifting operations to ensure that planning, selection of cranes, experience with various crane types and lifting equipment and accessories, instruction, and supervision as necessary are in place to enable the lifting task to be safely executed.
- Responsible for certification and coding of lifting equipment and ensuring periodical renewal of certificates.
- Monitor critical lifting operations to ensure that they are being carried out following the rigging study, established method statements, lifting plan, and risk assessment including revising and re‑approval of any changes to the working documents.
- Coordinate with site teams for lifting operation, transportation, erection, and all site activities. Educate the competent persons on lifting procedures and relevant documentation and activities.
- Provide technical expertise as required by the team.
- Identify the necessary training required to implement safe rigging/lifting operations, support and encourage the practical application of competency‑based development.
- Demonstrate initiative in resolving both immediate and long‑term outage issues regarding rigging and lifting systems and their practical implementation.
- Attend client and company management meetings on and off‑site regarding site rigging issues.
- Conduct work‑safety awareness programmes for company and contract subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience in managing heavy lifting and rigging equipment in field service/maintenance within the energy sector rotating equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of local and international standards for lifting activity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and work with people.
- Self‑motivated, critical thinker, tenacious and curious.
