Power Site Engineer
On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, we are seeking a Power Site Engineer with hands‑on experience in telecom power systems
, including hybrid power solutions (Battery + Solar), UPS, rectifier systems, and battery banks. The role is responsible for supervising installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, maintenance coordination, and compliance with safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards at customer sites.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of power systems, including:
- Hybrid Power Solutions (Battery + Solar)
- UPS systems
- DC Swap systems
- Battery banks (SMF / Lithium‑ion)
- Ensure all activities comply with customer power standards, approved drawings, method statements, and safety procedures.
- Perform Power Acceptance Testing (PAT) and support customer acceptance, site handover, and documentation closure.
- Monitor and control on‑site electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with safety and operational procedures.
- Define maintenance priorities and propose preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Recommend required material stock levels to ensure continuity of operations.
- Ensure all work activities comply with HSE and safety practices.
- Maintain and ensure operational efficiency of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Act as the focal point for cybersecurity matters at site level.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s cybersecurity framework and applicable industry standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capability.
- Solid understanding of power KPIs, SLAs, and escalation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Layout drawings
- Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and customers.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a role such as:
- Or higher technical position
- Hands‑on experience in telecom power environments is required.
