Application Engineer – Upstream Chemicals (Baker Hughes)

• Providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre‑ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team. This includes technical analysis of client needs, definition and optimization of products, scope, schedule, industrial scheme, cost, and the OTR part where engineers customize products and implement them for specific customer needs.
• Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and established approaches and methods.
• Communicating across the direct organization; presenting to senior leaders (EB and SEB) and on cross‑functional teams to explain how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
• Connecting the dots across technologies and developing cross‑technology solutions; working on cross‑functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business and communicating across the function in the area of expertise.

• Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Have at least 5 years of field experience in upstream chemicals.
• Have experience in the upstream chemicals function.
• Have the ability to screen, performance‑test, and blend demulsifier chemistries.
