Job Description

Join Eaton’s Dubai team, a leader in power management and sustainable manufacturing. This role focuses on the design, assembly, and operation of automated machines, supporting the company’s growth on a new sustainable campus.

What You’ll Do

• Mechanical design, assembly, and wiring of automated machines and plants.
• Maintenance of mechanical and electronic systems—inspections, cleaning, lubrications.
• Creation of machine safety and data concepts.
• Design and optimization of automation solutions using PLC controllers, robotics, industrial image processing, drive technology, testing technology, safety technology, and other automation technologies.
• Programming and commissioning of PLC controllers, safety controllers, and HMI systems.
• Integration of robotic systems and other automated components into existing production processes.
• Functional and performance testing of automation systems, troubleshooting, and optimization of control programs.
• Preparation of technical documentation, operating instructions, and training materials.
• Collaboration in planning and implementing projects for modernization and expansion of production facilities.
• Support training of new employees in using new automation technologies.
• Introduce Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., 3‑D printing, AMR, predictive maintenance, simulation).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation.
• 6‑month training in Europe and travel flexibility.

Skills

• Experience with Cam‑controlled machines (Bihler preferred); familiarity with Wafios, Finzer.
• Proficient in CAD, PLC programming, and HMI systems; programming skills are a plus.
• Quick comprehension, continuous learning, willingness to work shifts and travel.
