Resident Engineer – Infrastructure & Water Projects

Our client is a leading consultancy delivering large-scale infrastructure and water projects in the UAE.

The Role: The Resident Engineer oversees the on-site delivery of large water or infrastructure projects, ensuring construction quality, safety compliance, and timely execution.

• Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities on‑site, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and schedules.
• Act as the primary on‑site interface for the client, contractors, and consultants on technical and contractual matters.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or deviations.
• Uphold strict quality control and ensure compliance with HSE procedures and project specifications.
• Review and approve site documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.
• Identify potential on‑site risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Minimum 15 years of experience managing large‑scale infrastructure or water projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 PMCs (essential).
• Strong knowledge of on‑site construction management, QA/QC, and HSE standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors, consultants, and project teams effectively.
• RTA or DM approval (preferred, but not mandatory).
