Resident Engineer; Sewerage System

The Resident Engineer must have full knowledge of the existing sewerage networks in the Emirates of Dubai.

• He must be able to evaluate the time to complete the emergency works, take on-the-spot decisions, and deal with all service authorities while dealing with emergency works.

• He must have a thorough knowledge and experience in dealing with sewerage network, manholes, VC WO, AV chambers and pumping station rehabilitation works, non-disruptive road crossings, and road construction.

• He must also have thorough knowledge and experience in designing stormwater, and irrigation works.
• Familiar with the DM general conditions of contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and project network techniques (primavera p3).
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera P3.
• He shall be confident in his ability to control the work.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports,
  and cost estimates.
• Capacity to make a decision.
• Ability to liaise with DM and service authorities.
• Full knowledge of methods of excavation and back filling as per RTA
  standards.
• Safety requirements as per DM and RTA standards.
• Asphalt Tiles reinstatement as per RTA standards.
• NDRC methods
• Valid UAE Driving License.

Qualifications:

He shall have a relevant degree from a recognized
university and 20 years of experience in a senior-level
position.
