BIM Engineer (Architect/Coordinator)
We are Mira Construction L.L.C and Mancini seeking a skilled and innovative BIM Engineer (Architect/Coordinator) to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will play a vital part in leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance project delivery, collaboration, and efficiency in our construction processes. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation and management of BIM throughout various project phases.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed 3D BIM models for diverse construction projects, ensuring design accuracy and compliance with project specifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural and engineering designs within the BIM framework
- Perform clash detection and coordination, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize project delays
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM best practices and software tools
- Assist in the generation of construction documentation and extracts 2D drawings from BIM models as required
- Stay updated with the latest trends in BIM technology and methodologies to ensure quality project outcomes
- Participate in project meetings, communicating BIM-related progress and updates to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a BIM Engineer, Architect, or Coordinator within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE
- Strong proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and BIM standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools is advantageous
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages will be beneficial
