We are seeking an exceptional Head of Aerospace to drive the growth, strategy, and performance of a leading Aerospace Business Unit.
About the RoleAs Head of Aerospace, you will define and implement the division’s strategic vision—delivering cutting‑edge aerospace systems from concept to certification, production, and beyond. You will play a pivotal role in securing new projects, building high‑performing teams, and ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic growth, business development, and client acquisition.
- Oversee end‑to‑end aerospace program life cycles—design, development, certification, production, and support.
- Drive innovation in advanced composites, AI integration, sustainable solutions, and defence technologies.
- Ensure compliance with international aerospace standards (FAA, EASA, DoD, ITAR).
- Manage budgets, risks, resources, and stakeholder relationships.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a world‑class engineering and project management team.
- Represent the organisation at industry events and strengthen client and partner relationships.
- 10+ years’ senior leadership experience in aerospace, defence, or advanced composites.
- Strong understanding of aerospace production processes.
- Proven track record in delivering complex aerospace projects.
- Charismatic communicator and effective negotiator.
- Results‑driven leader, able to inspire and deliver in a multicultural environment.
- Formal qualifications relevant to aerospace or engineering.
