The Snag Inspection Engineer (Civil) is responsible for identifying, documenting, and coordinating the rectification of defects (snags) in civil and architectural works during and after construction. The role ensures that all building elements comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards prior to handover.

• Conduct detailed snag (defect) inspections for civil and architectural works — including structure, blockwork, plastering, flooring, painting, ceiling, waterproofing, and external finishes.
• Identify non-conformances, defects, and incomplete works against approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Tag and record all defects with photographic evidence, location details, and descriptions in snag lists or digital snagging software.
• Check MEP finishing interface areas such as openings, sleeves, and sealing works for coordination and finishing quality.
• Verify alignment, levels, plumb, and surface finish using proper instruments and measuring tools.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building construction snagging and quality inspection.
• Experience in villas, commercial, or high-rise projects preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant local authority codes and international standards

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality deviations.
• Sound knowledge of construction materials, methods, and finishing standards.
• Familiarity with snagging software (e.g., Plan Grid, SnagR, BIM 360 Field, etc.).
• Excellent coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
• Understanding of QA/QC systems and ISO 9001 quality principle
