Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director
- Electrical to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this key leadership role, you will oversee and guide our electrical engineering projects, ensuring excellence in design, execution, and client satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of large‑scale electrical projects
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for high‑profile projects
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Drive innovation and efficiency in electrical engineering processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering disciplines
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on electrical designs and documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering
- Contribute to business development efforts and strategic planning for the electrical engineering department
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
Master's degree preferred - Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Minimum 18+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven track record in managing large‑scale electrical projects
- Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Expertise in power systems design, electrical distribution systems, and building electrical systems
- Strong proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP)
- Excellent project management skills, including budget and resource allocation
- Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
