Context
Electrical Engineer
Missions / Main Duties- Leading the design and production in addition to the coordination and review.
- Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the design and implementation of lighting, power distribution, Fire alarm,Emergency lighting, Earthing and Lightning protection,ELV systems, ensuring compliance with Dubai / UAE, CIBSE,international standards (e.g., IEC, BS, DEWA,DCD, etc.).
- Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with MEP, architectural, and civil works, and manages interface with others disciplines. HVAC, Fire fighting, Dewtaring, Escalator / Elevator and power supply systems.
- Prepares and reviews technical documentation, calculation notes, cable schedules, shop drawings
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Relevant certifications and experiences with Duabi regulatory requirements are an advantage
Profile & Background- Minimum 12 years of experience in the design, of electrical systems,, preferably on metro rail or large infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Software knowledge on ETAP / Amtech / Dialux / Relux and Review knowledge on Revit / Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of medium / low voltage distribution, lighting controls, electrical load calculations, and local authority approval processes is required.
- Successful track record on rail and metro project.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
